My husband is BADLY addicted to video games/friends.
We are 21, married, one baby. He has always been a fan of video games, but since our son was born he is addicted. He left me because I wanted him to get off the games and stop going to his loser buddies house, one of them is his sisters ex husbands'. He seems to be getting worse and worse, we haven't spoken or anything in a month. He doesn't work and sits around all day playing these games. There seem to be no rehab centers devoted to this addiction. Is this really common? What are some more symptoms? He is restless and gets angry alot when he has not played.
It's VERY common. I think it's something that needs more recognition. They? whoever they are, NEED to establish it as "a problem", and also establish some rehab centers/programs for it. ANYTHING can be abused. NOT just drugs... I hope it gets better for you. Hang in there. You and your little one are in my prayers.
