'Overcoming Crystal Meth Addiction: An Essential Guide' by Steven James Lee is a good one.

Also, 'Crystal Meth: They Call it Ice' by Mary Holley.

Good book on crystal meth addiction?

My father was absent most of my life due to his addiction to meth. He has been clean for three years and has been back in my life for about two. I am having trouble bonding with him, it feels like there is a barrier and I thought that if I read about meth addiction it may help me understand were he is coming from. I hope that makes sense, I appreciate any ideas...

"crank" "go ask alice"
i'm not sure which was the title exactly but it's a journal the publishers published anonymously; the addict is a teenage girl and you can see how it changes her life + those around her - i think it'll help because 1, it's a real life story, and 2, you can see how one could fall into addiction and maybe it'll help with seeing him above his addiction

Does Meth addiction make you want to suck blood?

i read this book called CRANK if any of you have heard of it and while being super high on E and Meth a bunch of these kids take turns using knifes to cut each other so they can suck blood of one another. does anyone know why?

They are high out of their minds, that is also a book so its not true but drugs make you do crazy things again the book is dramatizing it so you want to read it! But it is trying to send you the reader the message that drugs can make you want to do and do crazy things!

Meth addiction/ emotional abuse Memoir. A few questions.?

I am writing my memoir about my past abusive relationship that lead to meth addiction. First, I am wondering if it is ok to use real first names. I have researched this and am getting conflicting answers. I'm wondering your opinions.

Also, I am wondering how to start the book. I would like it to be known that I was a very good kid growing up. I never once got in trouble at school or at home and all of this happened suddenly. I want to begin with something to hold the readers interest but not reveal too much in the beginning. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

First of all, you can use first names all you want. If they are public figures then you can use first and last without too much backlash.
As far as beginning a story line that would hold a persons interest. yes.., it happens to all of us would be writers. The cool thing is you will edit and re edit your memoirs several times before you share them with anyone for their critique. Good luck, I envy your courage.
