Why can't people admit that Marijuana is addictive???? IT'S A DRUG and if you have been doing it it's obiously because you like and and want to...you don't get nothing out of it but a skip from reality for a while...so yes I believe it's a drug....I know that the onlly reason it's illegal is because the government wouldn't make money otherwise but still it is a drug....am I the only one who feels this way???
I dont think it is addictive---I think it is a gateway drug that leads to more addicitng drugs like coke and crack and heroin and whatever and or foolish behavior--getting in trouble....so HUGS NOT DRUGS

Just got done reading an amazing article about marijuana myths, and the facts astounded me. The only thing that bothers me is that all my life I've heard that people trace their marijuana with other drugs to make you addicted. Is this true, and if so, how often?

Alcoholics Anonymous(AA) and Narcotics Anonymous(NA) are great places to start. I don't know of any specific places, but AA and NA are free (the only requirement is the desire to stop drinking and using). I am sure the local AA and NA chapters will know of good rehab centers near you. Good luck!
I'm the only one who knows that my classmate is into drugs. I caught him smoking marijuana and he made me promise not tell anyone about it. I'm feeling really guilty. His drug consumption is increasing everyday and I'm scared for him. He might be addicted to it. What am I supposed to do?
Have a heart to heart talk with him and ask if he has a desire to stop but can't. Ask if he'd like to talk to a school counsellor or an organisation or his parents and offer to be by his side if he so wishes.
My father abandoned the family when I was eight years of age. As a rededicated born again Christian my relationship with him has been very distant due his marijuana addiction and deception. He doesn't call and let me and the family know that he is in town instead he pops up and I am uncomfortable of him doing it.
You can have a relationship with him, but you need to realize now that you will be the only one in it!
If he is not clear of mind and body, he isn't totally 'there'. So your relationship will remain one-sided until he is clean.
Tell him you love him (if you do) but that until he can get clean, that you wish he leave you alone. If you're an adult, that's easy to control. If you're still a minor at home, get with your family and make a group decision to not open the door when he knocks.
